Is your backup really large? That error can happen when there is a race condition with running a backup with ssh disconnected. The primary usecase for that disconnected feature is large backups that take a long time to run, and can be susceptible to "connection closed prematurely" where the active SSH connection hits network issues and disconnects mid backup.

If your backup isn't really large perhaps unchecking that option would be the solution.
